WHERE DO THESE ANIMALS COME FROM?

"The Furry Animal Lady" has been in business for 12 years and is pleased to have found a company who shares in our concerns for the preservation and protection of animal rights. In our fur collection, a tanning process is used with recycled waste by-products from the food industry such as goat, sheep, lamb, pig and rabbit fur.
 
Chicken Feathers and Pheasant Feathers are used in our Feathered Bird Collection. These processes help environmentally by eliminating the typical burning and burying of the waste.
 
The furs are dyed or used naturally after the tanning and sterilizing of the hides. Once this has been done the hide is placed over a paper mache/resin or alabaster (which is like crushed marble) mold. In the feathered bird collection recycled styrofoam molds are used. We are currently updating the molds and using rubber forms.
 
"The Furry Animal Lady" then decorates, embellishes, and puts on the final finishing touches to create the most realistic reproductions ever offered! Custom painting of any of our quality resin or alabaster figurines (without fur) is available and when completed is signed by the artist! IF I HAVE A CHILD WHO IS ALLERGIC TO ANIMAL DANDER WILL THIS PRODUCT BE SAFE?
Most children allergic to animal fur can tolerate these animals as they have been acid washed and salted in the tanning process which removes 98% of the dander (the actual allergen in most allergic reactions to household pets). My suggestion is to purchase a furry mouse from "Petsmart" or the like made with rabbit fur for $1.00 and see if any allergy related symptoms exists. If you have no problem with the mouse your most likely o.k. on our rabbit fur animals. If dust is a problem as an allergen then I do not suggest you purchase any due to the nature of the fur or feather product as it will hold dust. For so many children age 3 and up these animals are like holding the real thing! The natural oil on our clean hands will keep them dust free and in good condition for many years!
 
 
WHAT IS THE BEST AGE TO OBTAIN THE FURRY ANIMALS FOR CHILDREN?
We do not suggest any younger then 3 years of age as the younger ones may put them in their mouths and the hair, noses, and eyes may cause discomfort or choking.
 
 
I BOUGHT ONE OF THESE ANIMALS BEFORE AND MY DOG/CAT ATE IT.  IS THIS HARMFUL TO REAL ANIMALS?
Most of our animals are NOT good for your pets as they may be a choking hazard from the eyes and noses and the chemical treatment used in the glues. We strongly suggest keeping them up and out of the way of all domestic animals as the fur is something they will certainly want to either lick clean or eat as part of their nature.  If the fur is swallowed there is very little danger as most will be excreted naturally. Please contact your Vet if any unusual signs are experienced that may have been caused by swallowing the plastic/paper mache.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

We have a NO return EXCHANGE only policy within 30 days for all merchandise returns. There is NO refunds on custom painted orders.

All merchandise leaves our premises in perfect condition.

PLEASE INSPECT YOUR MERCHANDISE! All claims must be made with the carrier within 48 hours of receipt of goods. 
 
No considerdation will be given to claims reported outside the claims period as UPS and the POSTAL SERVICE will not honor the claim.  If you experience Damage or Loss Please do the following:
  1. Save broken item(s) and packing material in the original shipping carton
  2. Immediately notify the carrier, usually UPS or Postal Service.  They may want to inspect the package and ship it back to us.
  3. Notify the Furry Animal Lady for a replacement.  After the carrier has advised us that you have filed a damage claim, we will credit your account for the damaged goods and either replace or refund your monies. 
Our shipping department determines the most economical way to ship your order usually by UPS or Postal Carrier. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer.  Prices are subject to change without notice. 
 
Please note that credit will not be issued for unauthorized returns or refused shipments.

 
WHAT CREDIT CARDS DO YOU ACCEPT AND PAYMENT TERMS?
We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express Within The United States

We do not send shipments C.O.D.  All orders must be pre-paid prior to shipping by check, money order or credit cards thru Mastercard, Visa, Discover or American Express.  Visa and Mastercard Debit Cards are accepted.  NO ATM cards can be processed for your order.
 
 
IF I AM ORDERING FROM OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT? 
We accept all International Money Orders or payment thru PayPal.com ONLY.
 

RETURNED CHECKS
There will be a $25.00 service charge for all returned checks and invalid credit card chargebacks.
 

BACKORDERS 
If your item is out of stock or no longer available we will notify you via email or postal mail.  We do not backorder items so please re-order at a later date.  If credit is due at the time of notification we will mail you a refund within 30 days or less.
 

WHAT IS YOUR PRIVACY POLICY?
We take your information very seriously and under no circumstance will we divulge your address, phone or credit card information to any third parties. The only exception would be to complete any paper work needed to make a damage claim at which time we would provide your address and phone number only to the provider who mailed the damaged product to you.
